Knife stabber expresses himself for the first time
The 31-year-old expressed his regret. Three people were killed in the attack on Barbarossaplatz in June.
The Würzburg knife knife made his first statement. As Munich Public Prosecutor Florian Weinzierl confirms, the 32-year-old man got involved in the act and his life during an interrogation. The 32-year-old is now willing to participate in the investigation, said his Würzburg lawyer Hans-Jochen Schrepfer. He also expressed his regret. Schrepfer does not believe that “Islamist motives will still come into question” after this interrogation. The motive lies in the “personal area”, allegedly the 32-year-old heard voices. The attack on Barbarossaplatz in June killed three people and seriously injured another six. An expert opinion should provide information as to whether the Somali may have acted in a state of incapacity.
