Uniswap DAO enabledapproveA non-binding proposal called a “temperature check” to make Wormhole the official cross-chain bridge of the protocol between the BNB Chain and Ethereum, according to the official proposal.
This proposal will become part of the final plan to deploy Uniswap V3 to the BNB network, leading to a binding resolution going forward.
Wormhole had to contend with three opponents in the DAO referendum: LayerZero, deBridge and Celer and secured a clear majority with 62.31% of the vote, with LayerZero second with 37.58% and DeBridge and Celer less than 0.1%.
