World record: Man has worked in the same company for 84 years

Hardly anyone knows these substances as well as Walter Orthmann. The Brazilian has been working for the same company for 84 years – in Brusque in southern Brazil. The 100-year-old has thus set a Guinness World Record. Orthmann started as a teenager in the factory building, then he worked in administration until he finally became sales manager.
