Work by Albrecht Dürer appears – it remained unrecognized for 230 years – Bavaria

Finding a real Dürer in the attic while mucking out is one of the most common dreams in Nuremberg, especially since the city must be considered to be reasonably free of original Dürer. In this respect, envious looks are likely to be directed towards Oldenburg. The State Library did not clean up there, but took a closer look at a certain point. And came across a work that probably came from the workshop of what is probably the most famous German artist – if not actually made by his hand. It lay there for 230 years without anyone knowing about it.
