WM 2022: When should the group stage be drawn?
As the world association announced last month, the group stage will be drawn on April 1, 2022, one day after the FIFA Congress in Doha. At the time of drawing lots, not all 32 participating nations will have been determined because the last teams will not be determined until June at the intercontinental playoffs.
The draw for the European qualifying matches will take place on November 26, 2021 in Zurich.
