In a car accident in the far west of Munich, a 30-year-old woman from the Fürstenfeldbruck district was killed on Saturday evening. At about 8.30 p.m., a 41-year-old man crashed into the young woman’s Renault in his VW Golf on the edge of the municipality of Gröbenzell. Both cars were thrown off the road as a result of the violent collision. The 30-year-old’s Renault overturned and lay on the passenger side in a meadow. The woman suffered fatal injuries. The 41-year-old VW driver was injured and brought to a Munich hospital by rescue helicopter. According to a police spokesman, it must be clarified whether he was drunk at the time of the accident.
