Beautiful hair is a matter of opinion, but for most people it should be strong and shiny. You can incorporate these five tips and tricks into your hair care routine to properly care for your hair.

Whether curly, straight, short or long – hair is as different as the people who own it. Every hair needs the right care that suits its structure and length. However, there are some tips that you can quickly and easily incorporate into your hair care routine that will promote shiny and healthy hair.

Hair care tip 1: Remove split ends regularly

Split ends are annoying because they thin out the hair over time and promote hair breakage. You don’t always have to go to the hairdresser to get rid of split ends regularly. With a little practice, you can also remove it yourself at home. To do this, work your hair strand by hair strand through your hair. Separate a strand of hair about two to three centimeters thick with your fingers and twist the hair around each other. This means you keep twisting them until a narrow and twisted strand is revealed. This should be as tight as possible. The broken ends are now sticking out from the twisted strand and are easy to see if you hold them up to the light. Remove the strands that are sticking out with a sharp barber scissors and repeat this process for each strand of hair.

Hair Care Tip 2: Hair Masks

At a hair mask This is an intensive care product that is distributed and massaged into the damp lengths after the hair has been washed. Depending on the mask, the exposure time varies somewhat. A hair mask should moisturize and give dry hair more suppleness and shine. You can use hair masks when your hair looks dry and dull or regularly once or twice a week.

Hair care tip 3: Argan oil for the hair

argan oil numerous positive properties are said to exist. Argan oil contains fatty acids and antioxidants that are supposed to give the hair a fresh shine. The contained tocopherol should also have a positive effect on hair growth and strengthen the hair roots. The oil also helps with dry scalp and can alleviate symptoms such as burning or itching by reducing dandruff and promoting blood circulation. The application is simple: Spread the oil on the scalp before washing your hair and massage it in. Leave the oil on under a towel for about 30 minutes. Then you can wash your hair. Alternatively, you can also use the argan oil as a hair treatment. After shampooing, simply distribute through hair, wrap head in towel and leave overnight. However, you must rinse your hair thoroughly the following day.

Hair care tip 4: dose the heat

There are numerous electric styling devices for hair. Including straightening irons, curling irons, wave irons and rotary hair dryer brushes. Shaping hair with these tools is fun, but shouldn’t be done carelessly or too often. The heat can damage hair, drying it out and causing breakage. You can recognize good styling devices by the fact that they have a temperature display. Do not set the temperature above 150 to 160 degrees, so you straighten or curl the hair more gently.

Hair care tip 5: Avoid night breakage

In particular, people with long hair lie on their hair when they sleep. This can cause hair — especially hair that is already damaged — to break more quickly. A simple but effective tip is therefore: braid your hair before bed or wear a bun on your head. This will prevent you from lying on your hair and breaking your hair more quickly.
