The aggression, a priori totally free, dates back to Saturday evening in the Toulouse metro. Around 11 p.m., a man entered a train at Reynerie station. He began by bothering several passengers before rushing on a couple in their twenties, beating the young people with kicks and punches. It was users who intervened to expel him from the train at the next stop and who notified the police.
A 31-year-old suspect, already well known to the police, was arrested shortly after and taken into custody. He should have been tried on Tuesday in an immediate appearance for “aggravated violence” but he asked for time to prepare his defense. In the meantime, he has been imprisoned.
