Did Jill Biden do a bit of trolling on the eve of the G7 opening? The First Lady of the United States was displayed during a short walk facing the sea on Thursday, accompanied by Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife, Carrie Johnson, with a jacket bearing the “LOVE” lettering on his back. It inevitably evokes Melania Trump, with her message “I don’t care, do you? »On the back of his raincoat in the midst of the migrant crisis.
Asked about her dress choice for the day, Jill Biden said she wanted to bring a positive message from America. “It is important that people feel that there is a unity between all the countries (of the G7) and that there is hope after this year of pandemic”, she added. “Joe and I are looking forward to meeting everyone at the G7,” she concluded.

Contrast of First Lady
The message was all the more noticed because it contrasted singularly with the one chosen by the previous First Lady, Melania Trump, also on a jacket. During a trip, in June 2018, to the border with Mexico, she wore one on which could be read “I really don’t care, do u? (I don’t care, do you?). Faced with the controversy – while children were detained in latticed rooms – she later explained that these words were intended “for people and left-wing media who criticize me”. “I want to show them that I don’t care,” she said.
