With shorts to the interview and to see girlfriend Lena: Nagelsmann explains outfit change

As always, national coach Julian Nagelsmann spent 90 minutes in his coaching zone, gesticulating and articulating with only a few breaks. At the end, the 36-year-old also celebrated the deserved but hard-earned 2-0 (1-0) victory over Hungary. Nagelsmann suddenly appeared in a new outfit for the MagentaTV interview after the game.

The national coach promptly explained what was behind it. “It was very warm. Short is a bit more pleasant for the journey home now,” explained Nagelsmann at the microphone in conversation with reporter Sascha Bandermann and expert Tabea Kemme: “The kit managers also wanted to clear up the stuff quickly, so it was a very pragmatic reason.”

Nagelsmann watched the game in a black knitted shirt with matching trousers. He then changed into a more casual outfit: a white Germany shirt from Adidas and shorts with the famous three stripes. After the long interview, the football coach insisted on freeing reporter Bandermann from a spider that was crawling across his face.
