With his film “Irréductible”, Jérôme Commandeur wins the Grand Prix of the Comedy Festival

The year begins particularly for Jérôme Commandeur. His filmIrreducible won the Grand Prix of the 25th edition of the Alpe d’Huez Comedy Festival on Saturday.

This is the comedian’s second achievement. He tells the story of a civil servant who will do everything to resist a downsizing to eliminate, among other things, his post. The film, where Jérôme Commandeur plays the main role, and Gérard Darmon a minister, assigns secondary roles to Christian Clavier and Valérie Lemercier. It’s due out in June.

A prize for four actors

We smile for the picture, directed by François Uzan, won the Special Jury Prize, and Twins but not too many, by Olivier Ducray and Wilfried Méance, the audience award. The short film award went to The one who hadn’t seen Friends by Charlotte Gabris.

The Best Actor Award was given jointly to four actors, those of the Canadian film goodbye happiness : François Arnaud, Antoine Bertrand, Louis Morissette and Patrice Robitaille. The Best Actress Award was won by Audrey Lamy for Squad, where she plays a canteen in a home for migrants.
