Wirecard: “Neither my job, nor my level” – Economy

Markus Braun sees his version of the Wirecard scandal proven: the business was there, so was the money, others ripped off the group. He leaves no room for doubt about his story.

Apparently Markus Braun has reworked it again. In any case, the former boss of the defunct Wirecard group comes to the hearing on Wednesday, well prepared, and he wants to prove once again that his version of the story is correct: that the former Dax group Wirecard very well earned billions with business in Asia; that this money was distributed to a large number of letterbox companies and accounts around the world and was eventually embezzled from there. Quite different from what the prosecution and the Wirecard insolvency administrator claim. By whom? Above all, his co-defendant Oliver Bellenhaus, once the governor of Wirecard in Dubai and today the prosecution’s key witness. And maybe from Jan Marsalek, the former Wirecard board member who fled. He, Braun, is in any case innocent in the downfall of Wirecard.
