It’s a premature end for director Rhys Frake-Waterfield in Hong Kong: his horror film “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” was canceled in the Chinese special administrative region this week, more than 30 movie theaters had the bloody parody out of theirs before the film started on Thursday programs cancelled. Two years ago, under the pretext of national security, Hong Kong passed a film censorship law that punishes unauthorized showing of films with a fine or up to three years in prison. However, the responsible authorities stated on Tuesday that they had released the film for viewers aged 18 and over.
