Several EU countries, Great Britain and Norway want to massively expand offshore wind power together. Chancellor Scholz admits, however, that the challenges are “immense”.
Olaf Scholz obviously feels comfortable in the presence of port facilities and ships. The Federal Chancellor used to be mayor of the port and cosmopolitan city of Hamburg, and sometimes he is asked about this special character and experience in distant countries. And if nobody does it, then the chancellor will talk about it himself.
