Willi Herren’s grave finally has a stone: who paid for it? | entertainment

… and you never go that far!

A year and a half after the sudden death of Willi Herren († 46), the former Ballermann singer finally really found his final resting place at the Cologne Melaten Cemetery over the weekend. He finally has a tombstone.

The grave is now lined with black marble, the stone is adorned not only with his face but also with a picture of one of his performances and his personal farewell saying: “Bye, Ciao and goodbye …” – now (hopefully) with a lot of rest.

It was April 20, 2021, when suddenly and completely unexpectedly, the reports about the death of TV star Willi Herren came out. Just a few days after the 46-year-old opened a food truck, he was found lifeless in his apartment in Cologne-Mühlheim.

The death of the party singer led to the outbreak of the long-standing family feud between his wife Jasmin (43), from whom he was separated at the time of death, and the rest of his family.

But especially daughter Alessia (20) and the former nude singer carried out their personal fight in the cemetery at Willis grave.

But who made sure to pay Willi the last honors with a stone?

Opposite the Cologne Online tabloid Report K. said Willis’s sister Annemie (57): “Alessia, Stefano, my son and I took care of it, mostly Willis’ children, they also paid for it.”

The design of the memorial stone is noble and corresponds to the Willi, whom everyone knew and above all loved. The stage was his life and so, for example, an appearance at one of the legendary “Olé Parties” can be seen on the black marble stone, as well as Willis’s personal farewell message to his fans after his concerts: “Bye, Ciao and see you Willi”.

A very special highlight for visitors to the tomb is the QR code worked into the marble, which can be scanned directly with a smartphone. Anyone who tries it will hear Herren’s “Kölle Hymne” played. Willis fans are enthusiastic on Facebook: That’s how “de kölsche Jung” always stays alive.
