Everything should finally get better: the descendants of the victims should get their rights instead of being treated like supplicants. Elementary principles of justice should be introduced. Germany finally wants to face up to its responsibility. At least that is how the reform of Germany’s handling of Nazi-looted art was announced when it was decided and announced in March.
