The ex-tennis star can apparently hope for a Christmas in Germany, Nick Cannon is looking for children’s names, and Kate Winslet saves a family.

Boris Becker, 54, Huntercombe prisoner, apparently could soon be a public figure again. A report by the British Sun according to the ex-tennis player currently in prison in Great Britain could soon be deported to Germany. The tabloid wrote on Sunday that he had been approved for an accelerated procedure that enables foreign prisoners to be released much earlier. It also quotes a prison source as saying Becker could come home “in time for Christmas.” Becker’s German lawyer Christian-Oliver Moser declined to comment on the newspaper report. At the end of April, Becker was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for concealing assets worth millions from his insolvency administrators. The dismissal and deportation program is said to be loud Sun help ease the pressure on overcrowded UK prisons.

Kate Winslet, 47, British actress, helps out with high energy bills. Winslet donated £17,000 (€19,400) to the fundraiser for 12-year-old Freya, the PA news agency reported on Saturday. The girl, from Tillicoultry, Scotland, is blind, unable to communicate and requires 24-hour home care and oxygen. Mother Carolynne Hunter started the fundraiser just a few days ago. She could not reduce energy use because of Freya, she had justified her initiative. She could face a £17,000 bill in 2023 because of gas and electricity price hikes, almost doubling.
