Wiesn 2023: Public voting for the Oktoberfest poster started – Munich

The Oktoberfest takes place this year from September 16th to October 3rd. For fans there is already an opportunity to get in the mood with a vote. The audience survey started this Monday to determine which motif should be used to advertise the Oktoberfest 2023 on posters. Interested parties can vote until January 27th.

Five places in the city council box including consumption vouchers and five Oktoberfest collector mugs with the new motif will be raffled off twice among the participants. The competition is organized by the city of Munich and has existed since 1952. A total of 94 motif suggestions were submitted this year, of which 45 met the criteria specified by the Department for Labor and Economics and are now going to the public vote.

Last year there were more than 120 motifs to choose from in the audience round. Ultimately, a jury of experts will decide on the winning motif, which will be presented with the 30 posters that have performed best in the population survey.
