A man died in an argument in an asylum center in the Wiesbaden district of Mainz-Kastel. In addition, two women aged 31 and 42 were seriously injured in connection with the dispute in the accommodation late Friday evening, a police spokeswoman said early Saturday morning.

The suspect was also taken to hospital with serious injuries. In addition to the dead, there were also two small children in the apartment, who were physically unharmed.

After the suspect was located in one of the apartments, special forces were requested. The SEK forces managed to arrest him around 1:00 a.m. in the apartment. The two children and the lifeless man, who died a little later in the apartment, were also found there. The suspect himself was also seriously injured, the spokeswoman said. According to current knowledge, the injuries are not life-threatening.
