Three out of four companies still use fax machines. Anyone who criticizes them is wrong. Although the machines are old, they are fast, practical and fairly secure.
For years, authorities or companies that publicly point out the possibility of sending information by fax have been in danger of meeting a special species. Let’s call them the technology-obsessed moaner. “HAHAHAHA!” they say (preferably via social media). “Why not just send it by carrier pigeon?” For some reason, this type of person equates the possibility of using a technology that has been working for decades with a refusal to accept progress. They are probably just in a bad mood.
