A little Swiss who delights. Tuesday evening, episode 8 of “Koh-Lanta” did not disappoint viewers (3.03 million followers, compared to 2.70 million last week). And Gustin was, once again, one of the great architects of the success of TF1’s flagship program. In front of the screen as well as on social networks, the young Helvetius annoys as much as he puts glitter in our eyes (if not in our lives).
“Never seen before”
And on the glitter side, Gustin put it on display during the first individual immunity test on Tuesday evening. Thus, the young man achieved the feat, on the penultimate obstacle, of walking on the ropes and winning the event in front of Ilyesse and Ugo. “This is unprecedented in the history of “Koh-Lanta”, exclaims Denis Brogniart. Never has an adventurer attempted the challenge of standing up. » “We had to take risks and with the weight of the people, we had to test,” the adventurer brags.
Then it was time for the final. Gustin will have to face Cassandre in a challenge where thinking is at the center of the game. The goal? Free a room from a maze, while being located behind the maze in question. Gustin wins, masterfully. “That’s all I was waiting for, to prove myself, to fight individually and to tear it up,” rejoices the candidate. There, it starts well, it’s really the greatest victory for me. » Gustin wins a most valuable immunity because the latter found himself in danger due, in particular, to his bad attitude in the camp.
A lazy side
If we have glitter in our eyes at the tests carried out by the 26-year-old lifeguard, the latter also has a certain talent to lead us to annoyance. When he was a member of the Yellows, Gustin quickly stood out for his lack of investment in the camp, his obsession with food and his weak mind. Unflattering traits which led his little comrades to push him to the ambassadorial test, convinced that he would not make it to the black ball. Unsurprisingly, during negotiations with Cassandre, he eliminates Emmanuelle without skewering. For viewers and fans of the program on social networks, Gustin in the role of traitor does not really surprise.
Tuesday evening, the Swiss once again showed himself to be irritating, making it clear that he could well betray his own team by voting for Sarah at the council meeting. However, the other candidates remain doubtful. “I have no certainty about this person,” even confided Frédéric, the former captain of the yellow team.
Divine idyll?
Flamboyant at times, often annoying, Gustin leaves no one indifferent. Not even Cassandra? Since the launch of the new season of “Koh-Lanta” on TF1, rumor has it that a romance – or at least a beautiful bond – exists between her and Gustin. “She’s an incredible person. She [Cassandre] is already incredible to begin with. Even if you’re introverted, a little reserved, it’s better to be the way you are than to change your personality to appear different,” the young man confided during the penultimate episode.
“Gustin, you can’t do more with nature and painting,” the young adventurer testified. He says whatever he thinks, whatever crosses his mind. » Please or displease, Gustin leaves no one indifferent. And, on these points, he has already won the hearts (or not) of the “Koh-Lanta” audience. Looking forward to next week.
