Why debates about renaming are often so fruitless – Culture

So now there is another Prussia debatebecause Minister of State for Culture Claudia Roth to rename the “Foundation of Prussian Cultural Heritage”. This Wednesday, too, should be discussed in the Bundestag’s Culture Committee when it comes to the structural reform of the foundation, which is actually much more urgent. Are cultural politicians aware of how old and stale these debates are? Hardly anything new has been heard here for forty years. They accompanied the Federal Republic from the beginning.
