The ProSieben show “Who’s stealing the show?” will be shown on Sundays from February 19, previously it was shown on Tuesdays.

The hit show “Who’s stealing the show?” gets a new slot. “Joko Winterscheidt will take over Sunday evenings on ProSieben from February 19, 2023,” said the broadcaster. For six weeks, ProSieben and Joyn will be showing the quiz, which won the German TV Award and the Grimme Award, among others. So far, the show has always run on a Tuesday. “In February we will show something familiar on our new ProSieben Sunday,” said ProSieben entertainment director Natalie Zizler.

In the six new episodes of “Who’s stealing the show?” Actress Jasna Fritzi Bauer (33, “About a Girl”), rapper Sido (42) and Tokio Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz (33) want to compete with Winterscheidt (44) for the job. In addition, in each episode, a viewer gets the chance to ask the moderator of Joko’s show via wildcard.

How does Who’s stealing the show work?

Joko’s challengers try to score points in eight quiz categories, divided into three prize levels. After each winning stage, a contestant must leave the show. In the final, Joko competes in a direct duel against the last remaining person. Whoever wins the final wins the show in the truest sense of the word and can “Who steals the show?” moderate and design the next episode according to your own ideas. Winterscheidt then fights as a candidate to win back his own show. The final round is moderated by Katrin Bauerfeind (40).

“Who’s stealing the show?” was already enthusiastic in previous years, and the 2022 show was the third most popular show with young audiences. So it’s no wonder that the broadcaster now wants to compete with the “crime scene” format on Sunday prime time. The reason for the success last year was certainly the guests of the show. In the 2022 spring season, Anke Engelke (57), Riccardo Simonetti (29) and Mark Forster (40) quizzed about moderating the show, followed in the fall by Nilam Farooq (33), Olli Schulz (49) and Fahri Yardim (42).
