Who always wins the lottery – Bayern

Playing the lottery is like passwords, you should not use the simplest variants. The date of birth of the first-born has rarely led to the goal, the day of the wedding always brings bad luck – at least in this respect. It looks so easy to win money, it only takes a few statistics: Last year, the numbers 49 and 1 were drawn most often, followed by 16. The 45 ended up in last place.

The following number combination offers really good chances: 3, 6, 36, 39, 43 and 49. A player from Lower Franconia won a total of 1.3 million euros on September 3, 2022 – and not for the first time. The man was lucky with the same numbers in 1989, five correct ones, 9,000 marks, the money was just right for the honeymoon. Four years later he won 4000 marks with his lucky combination.

In Bavaria there were exactly 31 lottery millionaires in 2022, more than ever before. Lotto Bayern paid out a total of 603 million euros in prizes and not only made an 87-year-old from Swabia happy with almost 1.2 million, but also a syndicate from Upper Franconia with 21.3 million. At Easter, a 77-year-old from Upper Palatinate received exactly 3.77 million euros in game 77. The youngest million winner was a bit unlucky, the 28-year-old comes from Munich – the 1.2 million that he received on his account is nothing more than a nice tip. He’s probably spent it by now on a 25-square-meter apartment and four cappuccinos.

There is more to do with the largest of all Bavarian profits from 2022, 469 million euros. Even the triple lucky guy from Lower Franconia can’t keep up with such a sum. This mega jackpot went to a syndicate whose administrative headquarters are also located in Munich, right on Odeonsplatz: the Ministry of Finance – so to speak, the only lottery player in Bavaria who always benefits with certainty. “Not only the winners, but also all other citizens in the Free State benefit from around 469 million euros in lottery tax, profit transfer and casino tax,” said the responsible Minister Albert Füracker. So a heartfelt thank you to all the players who went away empty-handed: They finance expensive subsidies in sports, culture and the preservation of monuments.
