He is coming ! The large Christmas tree in Strasbourg, which will be installed on Place Kléber, was taken Monday morning from a forest in Meurthe-et-Moselle. It will be delivered in the Alsatian capital on November 2 and will be decorated until the big day, when the Christmas market officially opens, on November 26.
Blue balls, figurines reminiscent of the toys of our childhood, candlesticks with eternal candles, kilometers of electric garlands, gold stars … If the large tree amazes the eyes of children and signs the opening of the festivities, its decoration sometimes leaves visitors and some Strasbourg residents are a little thoughtful, while others would even like a reusable tree made from recycled materials, without decoration.
