What Taylor Swift and Bob Dylan have in common – culture

Recently I was in our bookstore around the corner, it’s called “Politics and Prose”. The store is located on Connecticut Avenue between the Honeys and Friends ice cream parlor and the beer and wine shop, which is located in the same building as the pharmacy. In Politics and Prose you meet different people than on the street; most of them are very old and smile distantly and friendly, probably because they have spent their whole life reading books. Two of them even gave me the impression that they had been living in Politics and Prose for years. One had opened a book and was speaking politely, but also demandingly, into the pages.
