Summer temperatures in large parts of Greece

In Greece’s capital Athens, temperatures between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius are still measured at noon. Does this have anything to do with climate change?
Warm and humid air masses from the Mediterranean region have been causing summer temperatures in large parts of Greece since the beginning of November. The phenomenon is not unusual, but meteorologists attributed its duration to climate change on state television on Friday. The thermometers in Athens have been showing values between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius around noon for more than three weeks.
Values of no less than 18 degrees Celsius were also forecast for Saturday night in the Greek capital. In addition, the perceived temperature on Saturday around noon will be significantly higher than the announced 23 degrees, the Meteorological Office (EMY) announced on Friday. Similar temperatures prevail throughout southern Greece.
People rated the fact that there was no need for heating because of the summer temperatures as positive. “In times of energy crisis, this weather is welcome,” said an Athenian on state television on Friday.
