Beautiful spring weather is not in sight for Easter either, at least the temperatures are slowly hopping up. The best day could be Easter Monday.

Significantly more clouds than sunshine are expected in Germany for Easter. “Most of the time there is variable to heavy cloud cover,” announced meteorologist Sonja Stöckle from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach. Sometimes it can rain a little, in the higher mountain areas even snow is possible. After all, the temperatures are slowly hopping upwards.

The last working day of the week already gives a foretaste of the Easter weather. At 8 to 14 degrees, the clouds dominate the sky, especially in the west and north-west it rains a little. The sun can sometimes be seen in the eastern half. On Good Friday it will be heavily overcast, especially in the south-west half, and it will rain a little, snowfall is possible in the Black Forest and in the Alps above about 1000 meters.

On Holy Saturday the temperatures are between 8 and 15 degrees, it gets warmest on the Rhine. Clouds are dominating again, a bit of rain is falling, it can snow at higher altitudes. The most beautiful day of the Easter weekend could be Monday, fewer clouds are forecast, more sunshine and temperatures between 12 and 17 degrees, locally even the 20 degree mark can be scratched. “However, the model forecasts for Easter Monday differ somewhat, which means that the forecast is still uncertain,” the meteorologist points out.
