During the holidays, the complex Planet Ocean, in Montpellier (Hérault), welcomes an astonishing creature: a mermaid, Lexie. Visitors will be able to meet her, every day, or discover her show, in the middle of tropical fish.
Spoiler: If the illusion is stunning when she surveys the coral lagoon of the Hérault aquarium, Lexie is actually a 29-year-old stylist and graphic designer from the North of France, who traded her computer for a fin.
The young woman has passed freediving diplomas, to become a “professional mermaid”, she smiles. Her record: 3.57 minutes in a static position, and 40 seconds when she has her imposing fin. “For me, it’s a bit like second nature, I played, when I was little, Little Mermaid, she laughs. I trained a little, in spite of myself, when I was young! » 20 minutes met her.
