The weeks follow each other but are not alike in “the largest television survey in France”. After a week where the characters remaining in competition sang in duet and the elimination of the knight, it is a new international star who walked on the set of the show hosted by Camille Combal.
After interpreting the title price tag by Jessie J, the cat complied with the rules of the contest by removing its mask. The public then discovered the actress Tori Spelling, discovered in the series of the 1990s, Beverly Hills 90210. If the identity of this new character was secret, the investigators quickly arrived on the trail of the 49-year-old actress thanks to the clues broadcast in a magneto.
If it was her first appearance on the French show, the actress is already experienced in the exercise. She participated in the American edition in 2019, disguised as a unicorn and then in the Australian as a poodle.
Christophe Beaugrand was hiding in the polar bear
Besides the arrival of Tori Spelling, the competition continued in the traditional way with the five remaining characters, namely the polar bear, the bride, the elephant, the monkey and the turtle. These costumed celebrities competed in two rounds, the public then had to decide between the two characters who received the fewest votes at the end of the two rounds.
It was ultimately the polar bear who was ousted from the competition. He had however been integrated into the cast three weeks earlier by winning two face-to-face meetings and had managed to make his place on the show over the weeks. During the unmasking, viewers discovered that it was host Christophe Beaugrand who was hiding under the mask.
The monkey has therefore joined the elephant, the bride and the turtle for the semi-final which will take place next week and during which the three finalist characters will be designated for the final, on October 13th.
