Water toys for children: These gadgets provide cooling and variety
On warm days, water toys provide fun and cooling down outdoors

The temperatures are finally rising again: With the first warm rays of sunshine, playing outdoors is twice as much fun. The right water toys in the garden – or on the beach – provide the necessary cooling on warm days.
We’ve waited a long time for this, but now the time has finally come: Summer is just around the corner. As soon as the local temperatures crack the 20-degree mark, the streets fill with life again. And the gardening season is already in full swing. For children who haven’t been able to play outside for a long time, the best time of the year begins. So that they can enjoy their newly won freedom even more (and cool off a bit on warm or hot days), water toys are currently more in demand than ever. We present ten different models.
1. Water Mat
With a diameter of 172 centimetres, this Sprinkler and splash mat made of PVC enough space for several children. To ensure that the integrated holes throw the water 80 to 145 centimeters high in the air, you only have to connect the mat to a garden hose.
2. Waterfall
This water toys suitable for children from 18 months. It works like a waterfall: first you pour the water into the opening provided at the top, then it makes its way through various stations (which, by the way, can be placed in different places).
3. Water ride
You can play with water wonderfully – for example on this TÜV-tested one Rail. Children can bring the water to life with integrated reservoirs, locks, a pump and additional play figures (three boats, a seaplane, a captain, a policeman, a man and a woman).
4. Water Park
This is suitable for children between the ages of five and ten Water Park with permanent fan for the garden: It has a slide, a climbing wall and a pool area including a bucket and water cannon. Great fun for young and old, but it also comes at a steep price.
5. Water polo
This toy works best in water: The Floating Pool Basketball Hoop comes as a set, consisting of a basket and a ball – all made of plastic, of course, and therefore waterproof. In the summer, playing can be moved to the pool (or the beach).
6. Water gun
What should not be missing even on hot days is a water pistol. It’s a toy and cool down in one – and can shoot up to ten meters away. The water tank holds 1.8 liters and can be easily unscrewed and filled. In this set two models are included.
7. Water beetle
This water toy for kids works like a lawn sprinkler that connects to the garden hose. When switched on, the rotates Ladybug sprinkler 360 degrees while splashing water around itself. Great fun for the whole family (pets included).
8. Water feature
Also from home Playmobil there is a suitable water toy for children from 1.5 years: the water ride contains animals and figures as well as different play functions, which should primarily contribute to the fine motor skills and cognitive perception of the little ones – and of course it is also fun.
9. Aquatic animal
The bottom of this round of introductions is a swimming animal that looks like a dragon (but also comes in other animal forms). It is an air mattress with handles designed to give children more grip in the water. There is enough space on the surface for two small dragon riders.
10. Water cloud
For young children aged two and over, this water toy is in the shape of a rain cloud ideal for the garden (or the bathtub): in order for it to fill with water, it has to be submerged – then the cloud starts to rain when you squeeze it with both hands.
