Vladimir Putin arrived in China for a two-day visit

According to images broadcast on Russian television, the head of the Kremlin was greeted in Beijing, upon disembarking from his plane, by Chinese officials and a guard of honor.

Vladimir Putin arrived in China on Thursday for a two-day visit during which he will meet his counterpart Xi Jinping and try to obtain greater support for his war effort against Ukraine.

According to images broadcast on Russian television, the head of the Kremlin was greeted in Beijing, upon disembarking from his plane, by Chinese officials and a guard of honor. This is Vladimir Putin’s first foreign trip since his re-election in March and his second to China in just over six months.
