Hell. For six years, five children aged 4 to 12 lived through a real nightmare at their home in Locqueltas, in Morbihan. On Monday, the Vannes Criminal Court carefully studied the abuse and atrocities of which these five children were victims. Violated, the children also suffered regular sexual assaults. They were malnourished, untreated and had significant developmental delays. The sad story of this family took place in a particularly disturbing context of consanguinity and incest. The children’s mother, 32, was born of an incestuous relationship between her mother, then 17, and her brother, reports The Telegram. His mother had also been her husband’s lover for several years.
Parental authority has been withdrawn
The father, presented as the central figure in the case, was given a three-year suspended prison sentence. The mother was sentenced to an eighteen-month suspended sentence, the grandmother to an eight-month suspended sentence. A family friend who regularly spent his weekends at home was given a one-year suspended sentence. Since the denunciation of the facts, the children have been welcomed in foster families. Parental authority was withdrawn by the courts from their parents.
