Taikonauts on the way
The Chinese astronauts Zhai Zhigang and Ye Guangfu during maintenance work on the Tianhe core module. These images come from the state television broadcaster CCTV. According to the information, the two climbed out of the capsule late on Sunday and returned after about six hours. The so-called Taikonauts had docked with the Shenzhou-13 spacecraft on the Tianhe core module in September. They are supposed to stay there for a total of six months. The space travelers should test the key technologies and the robotics of the module, which, according to the state television, are relevant for the construction of the space station. The life support systems on board are also to be tested. These are the basis for carrying out numerous scientific experiments.
