Video: Survivors rescued after rocket hit in Dnipro

STORY: It is a moving moment for the emergency services in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro. The day after the Russian rocket attack, they manage to rescue a woman alive from the rubble of a residential building. However, Mayor Borys Filatow fears that this is only a small glimmer of hope. “I think the chances of saving people now are minimal. As of 11 a.m., 21 people are dead and 40 are still missing.” Later in the day, authorities actually revised the death toll further upwards, to at least 25. As for the circumstances surrounding the rocket’s impact, the mayor has a guess. “There’s a cogeneration plant on the other side of the river, so they tried to hit the cogeneration plant. But the missile flew past and hit apartment buildings.” The Ukrainian general staff said on Sunday that Russia launched three waves of attacks on Saturday, using 57 missiles, among other things. 26 of them were shot down.
