Stunning images of the underwater volcano erupting near the South Pacific island of Tonga on Friday. Thick smoke, lightning, ash and dust could be seen. The eruption had also triggered a tsunami wave. According to the Australian government, there is likely to be significant damage in Tonga. However, one assumes that fortunately hardly any people were injured or killed. The government of the island state of Tonga, on the other hand, is very worried about the heavy ash rain.
