STORY: Former US film producer Harvey Weinstein was again convicted of rape in Los Angeles on Monday. The jury found Weinstein guilty of rape, forcible oral copulation and sexual penetration with a foreign object in a woman. Charges from a second alleged victim were dropped, Los Angeles Superior Court filings show. The jury could not reach a verdict on two other charges. The jury also did not come to a verdict on the allegations of another woman. The judge spoke of procedural errors in the context. The former Hollywood producer faces a long prison sentence. Weinstein faced a total of seven counts of rape and sexual assault against four women in Los Angeles between 2004 and 2013. The 70-year-old is already serving a 23-year sentence after being convicted of rape in New York. Weinstein had claimed all of his sexual encounters were consensual and had pleaded not guilty.
