Video: Dead and injured in air raids on Kherson

STORY: According to the government in Kyiv, at least seven people were killed and almost 60 others injured in a Russian attack on the center of the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson, according to Kyrylo Tymoshenko, an adviser to the Ukrainian president. These images released by the regional government are said to show aftermath of the attack. A little later, President Volodymyr Zelenskyj condemned the attacks as “terror” on the short message service Telegram. It was killed for “reasons of intimidation and amusement,” Zelenskyj wrote. The targets were by no means military facilities. On Saturday morning, another presidential adviser called for the “liquidation” of Iranian arms factories that manufactured and supplied drones and missiles to Russia. The suppliers would have to be arrested, writes Mykhailo Podoliak on Twitter. According to Ukraine, Iran has already delivered 1,700 Shahed-136 drones to Russia. These have been used since September to hit targets in Ukraine. Iran denies the allegation. It was initially unclear whether Iranian-made drones were involved in the recent attack on Cherson.
