The attack in a suburb of Jerusalem happened on International Holocaust Remembrance Day. According to the Israeli police, seven people were shot and others injured. The attacker was a 21-year-old Palestinian residing in East Jerusalem. Apparently he acted alone. The US strongly condemned the attack.
