Victoria Swarovski is not only a presenter, but also a singer. She therefore wants to represent her home country Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest. But the “Let’s Dance” finale and the ESC could collide in time.

“Let’s Dance” presenter Victoria Swarovski wants to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest. Born in Innsbruck, Tyrol, the 28-year-old would compete for Austria. “It would be so cool if it worked. I would join right away,” she told the “Bild” newspaper.

The new “Let’s Dance” season starts on February 18 on RTL and runs for three months. The ESC 2022 will take place from May 10th to 14th in the Italian city of Turin. So that could be tight. But Swarovski is confident: “I would be able to reconcile everything.”

The Austrian ESC managers have not yet commented on this.

Victoria Swarovski has singing experience

Victoria Swarovski is not inexperienced in singing. Since 2010 she has already released several singles, including with Rapper Kay One. For the German version of the feature film “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Journey of the Dawn Treader” (2010) she sang the title song “There’s a Place for Us”. She also has a voiceover role in the new Disney animated film Sing 2, which hits theaters Thursday.

Victoria Swarovski comes from the Austrian jewelry dynasty of the same name. In 2016 she won the ninth season of “Let’s Dance” with professional dancer Erich Klann. Since 2018 she has moderated the dance show together with Daniel Hartwich and replaced Sylvie Meis.
