For a long time it was quiet about the entrepreneur Franjo Pooth (52), now the husband of entertainer Verona Pooth (53) is back in business. The skin care products and dietary supplements of his new brand Pacific Healthcare are based on CBD (cannabidiol) and hemp oil. But like him in an interview with the magazine “Werben & Sell” (W&V) says this should not be associated with a stoner or eco image. Rather, it’s a “good, health-conscious, Californian lifestyle”. In short: he wants to make cannabis extracts “sexy”, says Pooth.
Verona Pooth supports her husband as a “mother as an influencer”
He is also supported by his wife, entertainer Verona Pooth (53). She will be active as an influencer for the brand. They are “very lucky that the Verona target group matches the target group very well” of the products, according to Pooth: “When Verona hits a post, it bangs very well. After all, it is our key testimonial,” he enthuses the effect on their followers. Alone on Instagram there are currently more than 600,000. But it shouldn’t stay that way; the couple want to hire more influencers for marketing. But Verona Pooth “is the mother of all influencers,” says husband Franjo.
Pooth: Bankruptcy twelve years ago is an advantage today
More than twelve years ago, Franjo Pooth made headlines with the bankruptcy of his company Maxfield GmbH, which mainly sold MP3 players. “I still remember that it had cost a lot of energy and money back then, despite full media fire, to successfully come to an agreement with all creditors,” he remembers back then. Pooth was sentenced to one year probation and a fine for bribery and negligent bankruptcy deferral, among other things. In retrospect, he has learned a lot from his mistakes, explains Poth – and will “definitely” no longer make them.
The native Bolivian Verona Feldbusch, as her birth name is called, and the entrepreneur Franjo Pooth have been a couple since 2000. In 2003 they became parents of a son, and a year later they celebrated their wedding. In 2011 the second son followed.
