The once showcase and hopeful project Verimi has to accept the next setbacks. After the sixth year of losses in a row, two of the shareholders left the joint German business project before Christmas 2023. This is what research shows South German newspaper. Accordingly, in 2023, both Mercedes-Benz and Deutsche Bank returned their shares to the identity data platform and thus finally said goodbye to the project. There has not yet been an official press release about the farewell. When asked, both companies said the project was no longer a priority.
