While everyone (the “Television” service of 20 minutes understood) thought that the cast of the eleventh season of Dance with the stars was complete, TF1 announced the arrival of Vaimalama Chaves this Friday, one week before the show’s return to the air, confirming information from the Parisian.
Presented as a singer by the channel – she released an album at the end of 2020 – Vaimalama Chaves is best known as Miss France 2019. A cast without a beauty queen is also rare in the show. Before her, Valérie Bègue, Laury Thilleman, Sophie Vouzelaud, Sylvie Tellier, Élodie Gossuin, Iris Mittenaere and Linda Hardy all participated. Vaimalama Chaves will therefore be the eighth to set foot on the floor on the arm of a partner whose name we do not yet know.

On her Instagram account, where she is followed by more than 560,000 people, the model shared the first images of her rehearsals. “It’s my second day. I need to practice hard again but frankly, it’s not so bad, ”she wrote in the story.
In competition against her, Vaimalama Chaves will have to face the actresses Lucie Lucas (Clem) and Aurélie Pons (Here it all begins). Actor Jean-Baptiste Maunier, singer Bilal Hassani, comedian Gérémy Crédeville, singer Lââm, the former hero of Koh Lanta Moussa Niang, singer Wejdene, burlesque queen Dita von Teese, singer Lola Dubini, singer Tayc and youtubeur Michou complete the cast.
