In the US state of Kansas, a man was apparently shot by a dog. Various American media reported on the tragic incident and quoted the local police.
This was called on Saturday morning and found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound in the back in the passenger seat of a car. Hunting equipment including a rifle and a dog were found in the back seat of the car. The man died at the scene of the accident.
According to the police, the investigation is still ongoing, but everything indicates that the dog stepped on the trigger of the gun and that no one else was in the car. Apparently, such an accident does not happen for the first time in the USA. CBS News lists three other tragic cases in recent years in which a dog triggered a loaded gun and shot someone with it.
