Twitter account Indian Governor Raj Bhavan Hacked to Promote Fake XRP Airdrops is another victim of government hackers who hacked Twitter accounts to promote ads about XRP and Ripple.
The cyberattack took place about 12 hours ago, when the hacker made dozens of tweets promoting the scam.
Earlier, a hacker attacked a Twitter account in France when government officials were also promoting XRP airdrops, but this is not true. It is a fraudulent campaign.
Indian diplomats based in Omen have also been attacked by hackers. This means that staffed accounts in the background aren’t as secure as they should be, making hackers choose to attack these accounts.

After Elon Musk declared war on the Twitter bots that have now swarmed the Twitter network since he took over as CEO, the number of bots is actually less, but still a lot. And there have been some criticisms that Twitter’s 2FA insistence that it requires payment seems rather bizarre.
