Upper Bavaria: Man drives six kilometers on the outside of the train – Bavaria

A man rode a six-kilometer route on the outside of a regional train in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district and put his life in danger. As the federal police announced on Monday, witnesses noticed the 28-year-old on Saturday between Eschenlohe and Oberau. The route was closed to rail operations.

A police patrol checked the man in Oberau. He said he stood on the outside steps of the car and held on to the door because he still wanted to ride, but the train doors were already locked. At first he was not aware that he had put his life in danger.

It was only during the journey that he realized it. Under no circumstances will he do anything like this again. The man received a criminal complaint for dangerous interference in rail traffic. The road closure was lifted after 45 minutes.
