According to SWNS, the young couple decided last year to take in foster children.
Tasia already knew Rory because she was her student. She has been officially adopted since December 2022.
Tamiray is not adopted, but also part of the young family. Tasia is her cousin and now has legal custody.
It is not known why the two daughters needed a new home. According to Tasia, both of them started a healing process:
“It’s so nice to see the girls interacting as sisters after going through so many breakups and heavy losses. They are learning to love and trust again and I’m just happy to be a part of this journey.”
Young parents also get a lot of negative opinions online.
“People constantly have something to say on the subject and our requests as parents are not always taken seriously.”
Still, the couple say the decision is the best thing they’ve ever done.
