Unterhaching: Mourning for Georg Troll – district of Munich

The municipality of Unterhaching mourns the loss of Georg Troll. The longtime CSU local councilor died on Wednesday night after a long, serious illness at the age of 85. The former CSU parliamentary group leader and current third mayor Richard Raiser acknowledges Troll’s work in local politics, who also worked in the town as an entrepreneur with a metalworking shop and locksmith was known. “Georg Troll was very much appreciated and loved by the people with his heart and across all parties. Personally, I’m losing a good friend and valuable comrade-in-arms,” ​​says Raiser’s short obituary.

Georg Troll sat on the Unterhaching municipal council for the CSU from 1984 to 2008. He convinced with his extraordinary sense of duty and as an exemplary entrepreneur, also through his committed demeanor, among others with the Unterhaching volunteer fire brigade as well as with the trade and guild health insurance fund. In April 2008, the then mayor Erwin Knapek (SPD) presented him with the citizen’s medal with a gold badge of honor for his services.
