Sometimes the bon mot “pictures speak louder than words” is just a phrase used by people who are too lazy to read. However, an elaborate photo can actually boost the viewer’s mental cinema and develop narrative power. In this sense, the Unterhachinger photo club “Lichtwerk” is currently showing the exhibition “Picture Stories” in the Kubiz: not with words, but in four large-format photos and a heading, each exhibitor tells a story that is intended to stimulate the imagination of the viewer. Like here the work “Silence” by Manfred Lingen, who heads the club that was founded ten years ago. The exhibition can be visited until January 31st.
