An unknown person tried to blackmail a 17-year-old from Cham in the Upper Palatinate with his naked photo. The teenager sent such a photo to an unknown woman via the Snapchat social network on Friday, the police reported at the weekend. An unknown perpetrator then threatened him with publication and demanded 200 euros. The 17-year-old didn’t pay.
When the picture was published on Instagram, the 17-year-old reported to the officials. The police are investigating blackmail and warn against sending naked pictures.
